Regina Lilii is the Captain of Samoa Women's National Cricket Team. Regina has represented Auckland, New Zealand Indoor Cricket and is now going to represent Samoa at the 2015 South Pacific Games starting in July 2015. At last year's 2014 East Asia Pacific Tournament, Regina was named as the Captain of the tournament. She was also awarded as Best Bowler of the Year in 2015 Auckland Cricket Awards. Regina has contributed a lot to Samoan Cricket. Lets wish Team Samoa all the best for the upcoming South Pacific Games.

A cricket player.  

3. Are you playing cricket currently? If Yes - Since how long are you playing cricket? What level of cricket have you played so far in your country?
I have recently represented Auckland, NZ Indoor Cricket and will be representing Samoa at the 2015 South Pacific Games coming up in July.

4. Do you play for any club or a team? Mention their names? When was it founded? Where are you working currently?
Waitakere Cricket Club. I currently work for Vodafone and have a part time home based Usana business.

5. Where do you and your team see yourself in coming 5 years? Where do you want to focus in order to improve your cricket?
I see Samoa winning the next East Asia pacific tournament and entering the world cup pre qualifiers. Which we would then work very hard to secure a place in the top 3 to get a chance at making the next T20 world cup.

7. Any recent achievements/activities that you had. (It could be organizing a small camp, or just playing a match or organizing a cricket camp or playing a tournament series) Do mention the date.
At last year's 2014 East Asia Pacific tournament, I was named the Captain of the tournament team, and the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
At the 2015 Auckland Cricket Awards, I was also named the Bowler of the Year.

8. Would you like to come to India for a tournament or a coaching camp?
Yes, I would love that! I am actually moving to Japan with my partner in August.

9. What are the challenges you are facing in your country's cricket? If any, how do you feel to overcome those?
At the moment, they lack good cricket facilities and quality coaches. As Affiliates, they are also not receiving as much funding as other nations. The quality of cricket and level of fitness to represent at an international level is well under par and needs a lot of work.

10. One thing that you instantly need that would boost the involvement of people in your country's cricket?
More quality coaches and funding.

Eaitakere Cricket Club. And I will try and find two clubs based in Samoa and their details.

Can't think of one at this stage. Probably the Samoa cricket one.
